A. P. L. Logistics is based out of Arya Mansion at No 1, Second Line Beach. If you know the area near the harbor, you know it’s always busy with trucks and people moving things around. Being on Second Line Beach means we are right in the middle of all that action. Our office is in an older building, Arya Mansion, which has a lot of character but isn't anything like those new glass towers you see elsewhere. Logistics is mostly about keeping track of things and making sure they get where they need to go on time. It sounds simple but there are always little things that come up. We spend our days on the phone or checking lists. The air around here always smells a bit like the sea and the old port. It’s a hard-working part of Chennai. We don’t really have a lot of time for polished presentations. Most of the people we deal with are just looking for a straight answer about their cargo. We sit at our desks, drink our tea, and handle the paperwork that keeps the wheels turning. It’s a bit dusty and loud outside with all the transport going on, but we like the pace of it. We’ve been at this address for a long time now and we know the neighborhood inside and out. It’s just how we work every single day.
