You can find us at New No 5, which used to be known as Old No 3, on Varatha Muthuappan Street in Broad Way. This is in the Seven Wells area of North Chennai. If you know this part of the city, you know it is incredibly crowded and very tight. The streets are extremely narrow and there are people, carts, and rickshaws everywhere you look. We are right in the middle of all that daily chaos. Our office is just a small room packed with old ledgers and stacks of files. Since we handle cargo and moving, there is always someone on the phone talking about trucks and arrival timings. It is a very old part of the city with a lot of history. The walls of our building are quite thick and the ceiling is high, like the old building style they used to have. We do not have a lot of extra space, so we have to be very clever about where we put our things. It gets very hot in Seven Wells during the summer months, and the ceiling fans never seem to stop spinning. We have been in this Broad Way area for a very long time now. We know all the local tea sellers and the other shop owners on the street. It is a busy life but it is ours. We are constantly on the phone tracking where the goods are. It is not a polished job.
