Aquarius Logistics Pvt Ltd is situated at New No 26, which used to be Old No 122, on Angappa Naicken Street in Parrys. We are up on the fourth floor. Parrys is a very busy commercial hub, and Angappa Naicken Street is no exception. It’s a lot of old buildings and people carrying bundles of goods back and forth. Being on the fourth floor means we get a bit of a view, but it also means a lot of climbing if the elevator is acting up, which happens more than we’d like. Our office is a hub for logistics planning. We spend a lot of time talking to clients about their shipping needs and making sure everything is documented correctly. It’s not a glamorous job. There are piles of paper everywhere and the phones never seem to stop ringing. We’ve been in this part of town for quite some time and we understand how the local trade works. The people here are hardworking and we try to match that. We don't have a fancy lobby or a coffee machine that makes lattes. We just have a kettle and some biscuits for when the afternoon slump hits. Dealing with logistics in a place like Chennai requires patience and a bit of local knowledge. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the cargo from point A to point B without too many headaches. It keeps us busy.
