Polyfit Fabrication

Working out of the Sidco Industrial Estate in Ambattur is different from being on a regular street. Polyfit Fabrication is right in the middle of it at 3-V. Everything around here feels industrial. You hear the hum of big machines from the neighbors all day long. We started this place because we knew how to handle metal, and Ambattur Sidco is the right spot for that kind of thing. Our space isn't huge, but we make it work by stacking materials carefully along the walls. The air usually smells like burnt oil and cooling metal. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time navigating the narrow lanes between the units, but we always manage to get the steel in and the finished pieces out. It’s a lot of manual labor, lifting heavy pipes and making sure every weld is solid enough to hold. We don't spend much time on the computer or answering emails; we are usually out on the floor with the tools in our hands. The tea stall nearby is where we spend our short breaks, talking about the day’s work or the heat. It’s not a glamorous job, but there is a certain rhythm to it that feels right. We keep things simple and just focus on what is on the workbench in front of us. Most of the time, our hands are stained with grit, but that’s how you know the work is getting done properly.
