You can find us at No E 36 on 15th 1st Cross Street in Chennai. This neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to the main roads, which we like. The 600082 pin code area is where we have set up shop. It is a simple building, nothing too flashy or modern. Inside, there are a few desks pushed against the walls and some wires running across the floor that we really should tape down one of these days. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, so we see the neighbors walking by or the delivery bikes zooming past. The humidity in Chennai can be tough, so we keep the fans running at full speed. We’ve grown used to the routine of the street noises. There is a small coffee place nearby that provides our morning caffeine. We don’t have a front desk person, so if someone knocks, whoever is closest to the door just gets up to answer it. It’s a very informal environment. We’ve lived through several monsoon seasons in this office, and we know exactly where the roof might leak if the rain gets too heavy. It’s just a regular office space where we put in our hours. The furniture is a mix of stuff we bought at different times, so nothing really matches, but it works for us. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when the afternoon slump hits the staff.
