If you’re walking down K K Main Road in Venkatapuram, you’ll find us at number 110/105. We’re in the Ambattur part of Chennai, not too far from the Balaji Kalyana Mandabam. It’s a busy area, especially when there’s a wedding or an event at the hall, and the traffic can get really backed up. Our shop is a bit of a mix of things. We handle various supplies and items that local businesses or people might need. The building isn’t new, but it stays relatively cool despite the Chennai humidity, which is a blessing. We have boxes stacked up pretty high in the back, and there’s usually a bit of dust on the shelves no matter how much we clean. Most of our day is spent checking inventory, talking to delivery drivers, and helping the people who walk in with questions. We’ve been in Ambattur for a while now, so we’ve seen the shops around us change owners many times. We just keep doing our thing. It’s a practical business, nothing fancy about it. We don't have a big team, just a couple of people who know where everything is kept. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s quiet enough to read the newspaper. We just take it as it comes. It’s a decent way to earn a living in a busy part of the city. We don't make a big fuss about things, just get the orders out.
