You can find us in Kodambakkam, on Janakiammal Street. We’re at New No. 1 in Rangarajapuram. It’s a lively neighborhood with a lot going on. Our office is a straightforward place where we handle consulting and HR tasks. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles. It’s mostly just desks, chairs, and a few computers. We spend our days talking to people who are looking for work or companies that need a new employee. It involves a lot of listening and taking notes. The street outside can be a bit tight for cars, but that’s typical for this part of Chennai 24. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors, because often they are. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to drown out some of the street noise. It’s a small team here. We know each other’s families and what everyone likes for lunch. We don't try to act like a giant corporation. We are just a local group called Peoplesmart Consultants Ltd trying to help people get their careers moving. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. There is always a stack of resumes on someone's desk waiting to be looked at, and we try our best to get to all of them. It is a slow process but we make sure to be thorough every day.
