A Dhandapani & Company is located at New No:33 Old No:70 Devaraj Mudali Street in the Park Town area. If you know Chennai, you know how busy Park Town can get. It’s a very old part of the city, and our building has been around for a long time. We have two numbers on the door because of how the streets were renumbered years ago. Our daily routine is mostly about managing our stock and talking to the people who come into the shop. It’s a tight space, typical for this neighborhood. We have things stacked up pretty high to make use of the room we have. It’s not a modern office with air conditioning and glass walls. It’s more of a traditional setup with wooden desks and paper files. We’ve been here through a lot of changes in the city. The noise from Devaraj Mudali Street is constant, but you stop noticing it after a while. We don't do much in the way of promotional stuff. People know where we are and what we do. We just try to keep things organized so we can find what a customer is looking for without too much trouble. It’s a lot of manual work and staying on top of the details. We just take it one day at a time here in the heart of the city. There is always someone coming or going, and we just keep the business running like we always have.
