Marble Marvels

Marble Marvels is located at No. 1/96 on Ponnamalle High Road in Nerkundram. If you know that area, you know how busy the traffic can get. We have our small space right there among the other shops and businesses. We deal mostly in marble and some other stone items. It’s a family-style environment here. We aren't a big corporation; just a group of people who know a bit about stone. The shop is usually a bit crowded because we try to keep a good variety of slabs on hand. Sometimes it’s hard to move around in the back part of the shop. We spend a lot of time talking to local contractors and homeowners who are doing up their places. Nerkundram is a good spot for us because it’s central for people coming from different parts of the city. We don't have a lot of fancy brochures or a marketing team. Most people just walk in or hear about us from a neighbor. The work involves a lot of measuring and making sure the edges are straight. It's a bit messy with the stone dust, but that’s just part of the trade. We like being on Ponnamalle High Road even with all the noise outside. It feels like we are in the middle of everything. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in today.
