You can find us at No:199 on New Military Road in Avadi. It’s a busy street and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Paramasivam Hardwares is basically just aisles of stuff that people need to fix their homes or finish a construction job. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling in some parts of the shop. Sometimes it takes us a minute to find exactly what someone is looking for because there is so much packed into this space. We don't have a fancy computer system to track every single nut and bolt. We mostly just know where things are from memory and years of doing this. It’s a family-run kind of place. You’ll usually see one of us behind the main counter when you walk in. We deal with a lot of regular contractors and also local people just trying to fix a leaky tap at home. Avadi is a good place for a shop like this because it’s always growing. The New Military Road stays packed with bikes and cars all day. Sometimes we have to help load heavy bags of cement or pipes into the back of a small van right out front on the street. It’s messy work sometimes. We don't wear suits. We wear clothes that we don't mind getting a bit of dust on. We just sell hardware and tools. That’s all there is to it. No fancy talk or marketing here.
