You can find Pappa Rich Restaurant over at No.39 North Usman Road in T. Nagar. If you know Chennai, you know how crazy T. Nagar gets, especially with all the shopping and the crowds. We’re right in the middle of all that noise. We opened this place because we saw so many people walking around hungry after a day of looking at sarees or jewelry. It’s a busy spot, and sometimes it feels like we never stop moving from morning until late at night. The restaurant isn't meant to be some high-end dining hall. It's a place where you can sit down, rest your feet, and get something to eat. We have a lot of different people coming in—students, office workers, and families. The kitchen is always a bit frantic, and the waiters are constantly running around. We try to keep things clean and tidy, but in T. Nagar, the dust and the crowd always find a way in. We aren't part of some giant chain; we're just here doing our thing on North Usman Road. Sometimes we get the seasoning just right, and sometimes someone thinks it’s too salty. We listen and we keep going. It’s just us trying to make a living in one of the busiest parts of the city. It’s tiring but we like the energy of the place and the people who visit us every day.
