Pandian Driving School

Pandian Driving School has been a part of Chintadripet for a long time. We are right here in the heart of Chennai 600002. If you know how busy the streets get around here, you know that learning to drive is no small task. We take our students through the narrow lanes and the heavy traffic because that is the reality of Chennai roads. Our cars have seen a lot of miles. They aren't the newest models on the road, but they are reliable and they have the dual pedals which is the main thing. We keep a small office where people can come to sign up for their classes. It’s a bit cramped with all the registers and the old wooden desk, but it serves its purpose. We have a couple of instructors who are very calm, which is good because students often get flustered when a bus honks at them. We spend our days teaching the difference between the clutch and the brake and making sure people actually look in their mirrors. The humidity in Chennai can be a bit much, but we just keep the windows down or the air going and get on with the lessons. It is a simple life, teaching one person after another. We like seeing the look on someone’s face when they finally get their license. It’s a local neighborhood business and we’re happy to stay that way for the foreseeable future.
