Padmavathi Driving School

We are located in Kilpauk, which is a busy part of Chennai. Our office is a simple room where we keep the logs and take down the names of people who want to learn how to drive. It is usually quite a mix of people coming through the door, some very young and others who waited a long time to start driving. Chennai traffic is no joke, so we spend a lot of our time out on the roads around Kilpauk and the nearby areas. The cars we use are parked nearby, and they see a lot of wear and tear from all the gear shifting and braking. We have been doing this for years, so we have seen just about every kind of mistake a new driver can make. The office isn't anything special, just a few chairs, a desk, and some posters about road signs on the walls. We don't use big advertisements; people just see our cars driving around and call the number on the side. Most days are spent sitting in the passenger seat, trying to stay calm while someone learns how to handle the clutch. It can be a long day, especially when the weather is hot and the traffic is backed up. We just take it one student at a time and try to get through the schedule. It is a basic job but it keeps us busy every day and helps people get around.
