Paans Auto

Paans Auto is a small place located at No. 91 on Panchalaiamman Koil Street. It’s a neighborhood that has a lot of character, mostly because of the temple nearby. You can often hear the bells or see people walking to prayers while we’re busy with car parts and repairs. The street isn't very wide, so when a big delivery comes, it usually blocks the whole way for a minute. We’ve been here for a good amount of time, and most of the locals know who we are. It’s not a high-tech shop. We have our tools, our shelves full of parts, and a few old chairs for anyone who needs to sit. Usually, there's a bit of a mess near the entrance because we’re constantly moving things in and out. We don't really do the whole professional image thing. We just wear our work clothes and get to it. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back door when it’s heavy, but we’ve learned to move the stock out of the way. We keep things simple here. If someone comes in with a problem, we take a look and see what can be done. There’s no big sales pitch or anything. Just honest talk and fixing what needs fixing. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the noise of the street and the occasional busy afternoon. We like being part of this little community on Koil Street.
