You can find us at No. 203 on Nageswara Rao Road. This is in the 2nd Extension area of Athipet, which is part of the larger Ambattur industrial zone. Being in Ambattur, we are surrounded by a lot of other factories and workshops. It’s a very productive part of town, always the sound of machinery or trucks passing by. S.V.A. Rikkon Lubes deals with industrial oils, so the smell of lubricants is something we’ve all grown used to. The office is right there with the storage, so we are never far from the actual product. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially under the tin roofs of some of the buildings around here, but we have fans going all day. The staff mostly consists of people from the local neighborhood who have been working with us for years. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture. Everything here is meant for work. We have big barrels stacked up and clipboards hanging on the walls to track everything. Nageswara Rao Road can get a bit dusty with all the construction and transport, but it’s the heart of where things get made. We take our lunch breaks together and usually talk about the local news or how the traffic was in the morning. It’s a straightforward, hardworking environment where everyone knows their job and just gets it done without any complaints.
