Rajeswari Motors

We are set up at No 190 on T H Road in Tondiarpet. It’s a very busy stretch of road, especially being so close to the Apollo Hospital. There is always an ambulance siren or the sound of city buses going by our front door. We handle motors, so the place usually smells a bit like oil and old parts, which is fine by us. It is a typical Tondiarpet shop, not too large but we make use of every inch of space we have. The light comes in through the front in the mornings and then it gets a bit shaded as the day goes on. We see a lot of people passing by on their way to the hospital or just going about their errands in the neighborhood. Our team is small, just a few of us who know our way around an engine. We don’t really do anything besides the work itself. There isn't a fancy waiting room or anything. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us with grease on our clothes or talking to a customer about a part they need. It is a noisy, lively place to work, and we are quite used to the rhythm of T H Road by now. We just keep doing what we do every day without complaining. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now, and we know most of the shopkeepers nearby. It is just how things are for us.
