P. L. Engineering Works

We’ve been running P. L. Engineering Works for a good while now over on Kubera Ganapathy Street. It’s a busy little spot in Mathiyazhagan Nagar, right here in Padi. If you come by No-36, you’ll usually find us covered in some kind of grease or handling a few heavy parts. The workshop isn't fancy at all. We just keep our heads down and get through the pile of work waiting for us every morning. Some days it gets pretty loud with the machines running, but that’s just how things go in this part of town. The neighbors know us well enough. We aren't big on talks or making things look better than they are. We have our tools and our space, and that’s plenty for what we do. The street can get a bit cramped when deliveries show up, but we manage to shift things around. It's mostly just us trying to stay on top of the orders that come through. Sometimes the heat in the shed gets to be a bit much, especially in the afternoons. We just open the doors wide and keep at it. People stop by asking for this or that, and we try to help out if we can. It’s a simple life here in Padi, just doing the engineering work that needs doing. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. Just the workshop floor and a lot of steel.
