Our Angel Matriculation Higher Secondary School

We’ve been here at Chowdri Nagar Main Road in Alwarthirunagar for a while now. Our Angel Matriculation Higher Secondary School is just a part of the neighborhood where you see the kids in their uniforms every morning. Chennai gets really hot, so the school is usually a place where everyone is trying to stay in the shade under the corridors. We have the younger kids and the older ones all sharing the space. It gets pretty loud during lunch breaks when everyone is out in the yard. Most people around here know where we are because we’ve been at this address for years. The building is just a regular school building, nothing fancy, but it does the job. Teachers here mostly live nearby too, so they know the families. We spend our days going through the syllabus and making sure the students are actually in their classes and not just wandering around. It’s a lot of work managing a higher secondary school because the older students have a lot of pressure with their exams. We see them grow up from being little ones to young adults ready to leave. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic with the traffic on the main road outside, but we manage. People just call us Our Angel usually. It’s a place where we just try to get through the lessons every day and keep things running as smoothly as a school in Chennai can run.
