Online Working

Our place is on CNK Road in Chepauk, Chennai. The address can be a bit confusing because it has a New No 46 and an Old No 78. Most people just look for the landmark nearby. Chennai is almost always humid, so we usually have the fans on high. The office is just a simple room. We don't have a lot of staff. It’s mostly just a few of us doing various online tasks. We don't have a specific niche; we just take on whatever work comes our way that can be done on a computer. The furniture is nothing special, just some plastic chairs and wooden tables. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If the door is open, you can just walk in. We spend a lot of time on the internet, so we have a few different connections just in case one goes down. The street outside is usually busy with scooters and people heading towards the stadium or the beach. We usually take a break in the afternoon when it’s the hottest part of the day. We don't wear uniforms or suits. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere. We just focus on getting the daily tasks done so we can go home. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors know what we do. It’s not a high-profile business, just a local spot where we get our work done every day without much fuss.
