One Consulting Services Hong Kong Limited might have a name that sounds like it belongs in a skyscraper, but we are actually working out of Besant Nagar in Chennai. Our place is on the 23rd Cross Street, at Plot No E 99, right there at No 10. It’s a nice enough area, though parking can be a real pain if you arrive at the wrong time of day. The office itself is nothing too crazy. We have a few computers, some whiteboards that are usually covered in messy scribbles, and a lot of half-empty water bottles lying around. We spend our time looking at data and trying to help other businesses figure out their problems. It’s a lot of sitting and thinking, followed by a lot of typing. Being in Chennai, the weather is usually hot, so the AC is our best friend most months of the year. We aren't the type to wear suits every day unless we absolutely have to for a meeting. Mostly, it’s just us in casual clothes trying to make sense of whatever project is on the table that week. We’ve been at this Besant Nagar spot for a while and we know the local tea stall guys pretty well by now. The work can be a bit dry sometimes, but we like the challenge of it. We don't have a big flashy sign out front, just a small one so people can find the right door.
