Omega Designs

Working on GST Road means you get used to the constant sound of traffic and the heat coming off the asphalt. Omega Designs is located at 209, right near the Chromepet bus stop, so we see thousands of people passing by every single day. It’s a convenient spot for anyone taking the bus, but it does get quite noisy during rush hour. Inside our place, it’s a bit calmer. We have our computers and some samples of things we’ve worked on scattered around. We don't have a big team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the daily grind of design work for whoever walks through the door. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cluttered with papers and old files, especially when we’re busy. We try to keep it tidy, but that doesn't always happen. Most people who come in are regulars from the neighborhood or small business owners who need something done quickly. We don't do much advertising. People just know where we are because we’ve been here for so long. The light in the shop isn't the best in the afternoons, but we have enough lamps to see what we are doing. It’s a practical space, nothing more. We just deal with the projects as they come and try to stay on top of things despite the noise outside. It’s a typical local business life, really. Nothing too complicated or special about it, just work getting done.
