Ocuvent Medical Devices Private Limited

Ocuvent Medical Devices is based out of Arumbakkam in Chennai. Our place is called Punnagai Punga, located at No. 4/20 on West College Road. It’s a bit of a mix here, partly an office and partly a storage space for the equipment we handle. Being near the college means there are always students and traffic around. We deal with various medical devices, which means a lot of our day is spent checking boxes, looking at technical specs, and talking to hospitals. It’s not a glamorous job. We have shelves full of stuff and desks piled with papers. The building is just a regular house that we converted for our use. We’ve been here for a few years and have gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to stay back to get everything sorted. It’s just a few of us working together. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls. We just have our workstations and a lot of hardware. Most of our clients are doctors who need specific tools for their work. We talk to them plainly about what the devices do. There’s no sales pitch, just facts. It’s a small operation, but we stay busy. We like being in Arumbakkam because it's central and easy for people to find us. That’s pretty much what we do every day and we plan to stay here for a long time.
