Vijay Traders

Vijay Traders is located at No. 202 in Kamarajapuram, right in the Nungambakkam area. It is a busy part of town, so finding a place to park can be a real headache sometimes. Our shop isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have by stacking things up to the ceiling. We have been here for a while now, and most of the people on this street know us by name. It is mostly a family-run kind of place where we take turns sitting at the front counter. We deal with various goods and supplies that people in the neighborhood need for their daily work or homes. Sometimes the place looks a bit messy with boxes everywhere, but we usually know exactly where everything is hidden. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still written down in ledgers. The fans hum all day to keep the heat away, and there is always a pot of tea somewhere in the back. Customers stop in to chat as much as they do to buy things. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just open the shutters in the morning and stay until the evening rush dies down. It's a simple life of buying and selling, and we are happy to be part of the Nungambakkam community. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep our regular customers satisfied.
