Not In Job Now

Kodambakkam is a busy part of Chennai, and we are tucked away at 32G Balamurugan Flats on Aziz Nagar 2nd Street. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit quieter than the main roads near the train station. Not In Job Now started because we wanted a place close to home. The flat we work out of isn't a massive corporate office. It feels more like a home, which is fine by us. We’ve got the 600024 pin code stamped on all our mail. The stairs are a bit narrow, and the parking can be a bit of a puzzle sometimes, but we make it work. Chennai gets really humid, so we keep the windows open when there’s a breeze. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just show up every morning, drink some coffee, and get to work. Most of the people working here have lived in this neighborhood for years. We know the shopkeepers on the corner and the people walking their dogs. It’s a local business in the truest sense. We aren't looking to expand into some giant skyscraper. We like it here on Aziz Nagar 2nd Street. It’s comfortable and it’s where we belong. If the plumbing acts up, we fix it ourselves. If a computer breaks, we tinker with it. It’s just how we do things in this little corner of Chennai, and we like the simplicity of it.
