Anna Nagar is a pretty well-planned part of Chennai, and we are situated on the 11th Main Road at AK-25. It’s a residential-looking building that we use for the pharmaceutical business. Nostrum Pharmaceuticals has been operating out of this spot for several years now. The trees on this street provide some good shade, which is a relief in the summer when it gets really hot. Inside, the rooms have been converted into offices and storage spaces. It’s a quiet environment for the most part. We have a small team that handles the administrative tasks and the coordination of our product lines. Most of our work involves managing the supply chain and making sure the stocks are maintained at the right levels. We don't have a flashy storefront. It’s just a gate and a small nameplate on the wall. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to park on the 11th Main Road because it’s a popular area for shoppers. We usually start the day with a quick meeting to go over the pending shipments for the week. It’s not a very big operation, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering phones to packing. We keep the paperwork in filing cabinets that are starting to overflow. It’s a very routine kind of life here. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure the logistics run as smoothly as possible.
