You can find us over at 4/32 Andal Nagar Annex 1st Street, right in Sheik Maniyam, Porur. It’s a bit of a residential feel around here in Chennai 116. Nokia India Pvt Ltd has this spot to manage the local side of things. The office is on a regular street, so it’s not some big glass skyscraper. It’s more like a converted space that fits what we need. The weather in Chennai is usually quite hot, so we rely on the fans and the AC to stay productive. We do a lot of coordination work from this desk. Most of the staff lives nearby or commutes in from other parts of Porur. It’s a simple routine: come in, check the logs, handle the requests, and head out. We don’t really do anything flashy. It’s just about being there when people need something related to the business. Sometimes neighbors pop in to ask what we do, and we just explain we’re the Nokia office. The street can get a bit narrow when cars are parked on both sides, but it’s a quiet enough area to get work done. We’ve been here for a while and the locals know us. It’s not a corporate hub, just a practical place for us to operate from in this part of Chennai. We keep things low-key and just focus on the day’s tasks. There is always plenty of paperwork to finish and local calls to return before the day is over.
