Nizam Biryani & Caterings

At Nizam Biryani & Caterings, we spend most of our time in the kitchen over at No 19, West Matha Church Street in Royapuram. We are right opposite the Police Quarters, which is a pretty well-known spot in this part of Chennai - 600013. Royapuram has a very specific vibe, and we have been a part of it for some time now. Besides serving people who walk in, we also handle catering for different events around the city. It keeps us on our toes, moving large pots of biryani from one place to another. Our team is small and we work closely together to get the flavors right every time. We aren't interested in being a big chain; we just want to make sure the food we put out is good enough for our neighbors and the families who trust us with their parties. The street can be narrow and busy, typical for Royapuram, but we managed to make our home here. Working across from the Police Quarters means there is always something happening outside our doors. We don't have a fancy marketing department writing this for us. It is just the reality of running a food business in Chennai. We cook, we serve, and we go home to do it all again the next day. It’s hard work, but seeing empty plates makes it worth the effort in 600013.
