Parry’s Corner is a pretty wild place to work. If you’ve ever been to George Town, you know how it is. We are located at 4, Periyanna Street. Niti Electrical Accessories has been tucked away here for years. It’s noisy, it’s crowded, and there is always someone moving a cart or shouting about a delivery. We deal with electrical accessories, so the shop is basically floor-to-ceiling shelves. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we know where every single nut, bolt, and switch is kept. We don't have a website that works properly, and we definitely don't have a social media person. We just talk to the people who come to the counter. Being in George Town means you meet all sorts of people every single day. Some are regulars who have been coming to Periyanna Street since before I was born. We don't do anything fancy. We just stock what people need for their electrical jobs. The shop gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. We don’t make big promises or use big words. We just sell the parts. If we have it, we’ll tell you. If we don’t, we might know who does. It’s a tight-knit community of shops around here. We’re just glad to be a small part of the chaos that is Parry’s Corner.
