Our office is up on the fifth floor of Doshi Towers, right on Poonamallee High Road in Kilpauk. It’s unit 5C. Downstairs there's always a lot of traffic and noise, but up here it’s a bit quieter so we can focus on our work. We work with cranes and lifting systems. Most of our day is spent on designs, checking safety specs, or talking to our guys out in the field. We don't build the cranes here in the office, obviously. We do all the planning and coordination from this desk. It’s a lot of paperwork and technical drawings. We have to be very careful because when you’re moving heavy loads, there isn't much room for error. Our team consists of people who really understand the mechanics of how these things move. Sometimes we have to go out to a site unexpectedly because something isn't working right or they need a hand with the setup. We don't really do the big fancy corporate presentations. We usually just show the drawings and explain how the crane will fit into the space. The office has a few models and a lot of folders filled with project histories. We've been in Chennai for a while now and we know the local requirements well. It's a steady business. We aren't trying to take over the world; we just want to make sure the cranes we provide do their job without any trouble.
