Gmmco Ltd.

We are based out of number 6 on G S T Road. If you know St Thomas Mount, you know how busy it gets around here. Gmmco Ltd. has been part of this neighborhood for some time. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we deal with all the heavy equipment stuff. Most days it’s quite noisy outside with the traffic, but inside we just focus on the machines. Some of us have been here for years, watching the road change and the buildings go up. We’ve got a lot of space in the back. The yard gets dusty when it’s dry, which is most of the time. We don’t really do big speeches or anything. People just come in, ask what they need, and we help them out. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually end up in the evenings after we lock up. It’s hot in Chennai, as everyone knows, so we keep the fans going all day long. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out in the shade. It’s a pretty straightforward setup at Gmmco Ltd. No corporate stuff, just a group of guys who know about tractors and parts. We aren’t trying to be anything we aren’t. We just show up at 6, G S T Road, do the work, and head home. It’s a decent life here in St Thomas Mount. The street lights were finally fixed on our stretch, which makes leaving late a bit easier. Just a local business doing local things.
