Our office is on Dr Ambedkar Salai in Kodambakkam. Being in Chennai, it gets pretty warm in the afternoons, but we have our spot at number 235 and we make it work. We handle industrial products, specifically things like spring balancers and cable reels. Technical work is what we do mostly. The office isn't anything too special to look at, just a place where we keep our files and meet with people who need our gear. Kodambakkam is a busy area, so there is always something going on outside on the street. Our team is small here. Some of us have been with the company since it started up in this location. Big speeches or fancy mission statements aren't our style. We just show up and handle whatever orders or questions come in that day. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the city traffic, but we manage. You’ll usually find someone at their desk typing away or someone else on the phone explaining how a piece of equipment works. It is a very hands-on kind of environment. Sharing meals together in the small break area happens often. It feels more like a small family business than a big international branch, even if we are part of something larger. Being in this part of town feels real and grounded. It’s just a regular workplace on a regular Chennai street.
