Nithyas Kalvi Nilayam

Nithyas Kalvi Nilayam is located in Tiruvottiyur, way up on T H Road. The building is No 936. We are right opposite the Government General Hospital, so it’s a very easy place to find even if you aren't from this part of Chennai. It’s a very busy road with buses and lorries passing by all the time. Our center is a place where local kids and students come for their studies. It’s a basic setup. We have some benches, a blackboard, and plenty of books lying around. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls. It’s just a place for learning. The area is quite noisy because of the hospital and the traffic, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We start our sessions in the afternoon usually, after the regular schools finish their day. It’s a small operation. We handle the teaching and the administration ourselves. There’s no big management team behind us. We just like being part of the community here in Tiruvottiyur. Sometimes the heat makes it a bit tough, but we keep the fans going and just get on with the lessons. It’s a very honest kind of work. We’ve been at this for a long time now. People in the neighborhood know us by name, and we know most of the families who send their children here. It's just a regular local place doing its thing day after day.
