Our office is tucked away on 4th Street in Newcolony. It’s a pretty quiet part of Adambakkam compared to the busier parts of Chennai. We spend most of our time looking through resumes and talking to people on the phone. It’s mostly about matching folks with jobs. The street outside is narrow, so parking is always a bit of a headache if someone comes by car. We usually just take the bus or ride a scooter. The heat in Chennai can be tough, so the fans are always spinning in here. We’ve got some old desks and a couple of computers that have seen better days. It’s not a big corporate space, just a regular local spot where we get work done. Sometimes the neighborhood kids are playing cricket outside, and we hear them while we’re interviewing someone. We try to keep things simple. Dealing with people all day means there is always something going on, whether it's a missed call or someone asking for directions to the building. We’ve been here for a bit now and the neighbors know us. It’s just a standard HR setup in a residential area. We don't have a big sign, just a small one near the gate. It feels like home after you’ve been here a few hours every day. Sometimes we grab some snacks from the small shop at the corner during our afternoon break when things get a bit slow.
