Narayana Olympiad School

Our school is right at No 1 on Kamadenu Street in Mogappair East. If you know the Eb Office Road, we are basically right there. It gets pretty loud in the mornings when everyone is dropping their kids off. We have been in this building for some time now. It’s got a few floors and the stairs can be a bit of a climb if you’re doing it all day. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of desks and whiteboards. The teachers are usually in the staff room drinking tea before the first bell. We don't have anything fancy like a giant fountain or a glass lobby. It’s just a place for kids to sit down and do their work. Chennai weather is what it is, so the fans are always going full speed. Most of the staff live nearby, so we see each other at the local shops too. The playground isn't huge but the kids make it work during their breaks. We keep the registers updated and try to stay on top of the schedule. Sometimes a lightbulb goes out or a window gets stuck, and we just call the guy to fix it. It’s a normal school day for us, starting early and ending when the sun is still pretty high. People in the neighborhood just call us the school by the Eb office. That's how it's been for a while now. We just try to keep things organized and make sure the classrooms are ready every single morning for the students.
