You can find us over at 156 Thambu Chetty Street, which is inside the old Andhra Insurance Building. It’s one of those classic buildings with a lot of history in the walls. We’ve been running M.S.S. Engineering And Industrial Equipment Pvt. Ltd. from here for a long time. The street outside is always crowded with people and traffic, typical for this part of the city. Down here, we deal with all sorts of industrial equipment that factories and plants need to keep their operations running. Our office has that old-school feel to it, with high ceilings and heavy doors. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and checking on shipping schedules for different machine parts. It can get pretty loud outside, but we’re used to the buzz of Thambu Chetty Street by now. We carry a lot of different catalogues and technical manuals because the equipment we handle can be quite specific. Sometimes people just drop in to ask about a certain valve or a pump they can’t find anywhere else. We don’t have any fancy displays, just the desks and the stock we need. It’s a busy life, but we like being in the heart of the commercial district where everything is happening. We just try to stay organized and make sure every piece of equipment that passes through our hands is accounted for properly before it gets sent out.
