Mrk Engineering

Our workshop is at 3/25 Vedhagiri Street in Chinnasekkadu, which is part of the Manali area. It is a very industrial neighborhood with a lot of heavy plants and factories around. Mrk Engineering is just a small shop where we do various types of machining and repair work. The street outside is quite narrow and it can be hard for big trucks to get through. We have some older machines that we use every day, and they still do a good job even if they look a bit worn. The floor is almost always covered in oil and metal chips, so we have to be careful with our boots. There are only a few of us working here. We usually have our lunch together in the small space behind the lathes. We don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings while a machine is running, we might not hear it right away. Most of our customers are from the local area and they know we stay busy. We don't go in for any promotional talk or fancy business slogans. We just take the parts people bring us and try to fix them or make new ones as required. Sometimes it gets very hot in the shop because there isn't much ventilation, but we just keep the fans going. It is a simple life and we have been at this address for a long time. We just focus on the work at hand and getting things out the door.
