Mnc Ites

We are located at 1 1A Gandhi Road in the Jagannatha Nagar area of Arumbakkam. It is a busy part of Chennai and we have been in this spot for a while now. The office isn't anything fancy but it gets the job done for us. Most of our day is spent at our desks handling ITES tasks. We have a few rows of computers and the air conditioning is usually running because the Chennai heat can be quite something outside. There is a small space where we keep our files and a corner for the water dispenser where everyone gathers to talk for a minute or two. We don't have a big corporate cafeteria so we usually just go out to the local shops on Gandhi Road for lunch or bring tiffins from home. The street outside is always noisy with bikes and autos going past but we have grown used to it over the years. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in which gives us a short break. It is a very normal workplace where we all know each other well. We don't really do big meetings or anything like that. We just talk across the desks when something needs fixing. It feels more like a small community than a big company. We like being in Arumbakkam because it is easy for most of us to get to by bus or train. The neighbors are nice enough and the tea stall near the corner is good.
