Down in Cheyyur Taluk, specifically in Thattampattu Village, you’ll find Metallic Roofing (OPC) Private Limited. We are located at SF NO.54/2A. It is a quiet area compared to the big cities, and we like it that way. Most of our work involves metal roofing sheets. We spend the day handling the material, which can be quite sharp and heavy. You have to be careful with your hands. The village is small, so everyone knows where we are. We don’t need a big sign or anything. We mostly just work with people from the surrounding villages and towns who need to cover their homes or workspaces. The sun out here in the open fields can be really strong, and the metal sheets get hot enough to cook on sometimes. We just wear our gloves and keep at it. Our setup is pretty basic. We have the space we need for the metal and a small place to keep the paperwork. It is not a corporate environment at all. We talk to our customers like they are our neighbors, because most of the time, they are. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing our name and knowing we are out here in Thattampattu. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We do our work, make sure the roofs are sturdy, and then we head home. There isn't much more to it than that, really.
