At K.J. Roofing Sheets & Pipes, things are usually pretty dusty. We are located at No.71 on Thiruneeremalai Main Road in the Nagalkeni area of Chrompet. Dealing with roofing and pipes means there is a lot of heavy lifting and metal clanging around all day. It’s not a quiet office job by any means. We spend a lot of time outside or in the warehouse area. The sun can get quite hot on the main road, but that's just part of the work we do. We've got stacks of sheets and various lengths of pipe everywhere. It might look a bit disorganized to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is in the pile. People come by looking for specific sizes, and we do our best to find what they need. It’s hard work, and your hands get dirty and scratched up pretty quickly. We don't have any fancy brochures or a polished sales pitch to give people. We just show them the materials we have in stock. Nagalkeni is a busy industrial-ish spot, so there’s always trucks and lorries moving around. We’ve been part of this landscape for a while now. The team here is small, mostly local guys who don't mind the physical labor. We start early in the morning and head home when the sun goes down. It’s straightforward work. No one is trying to be a fancy executive here. We just sell roofing and pipes to folks who walk in or call us up from the site.
