Elgi Building Products Ltd

You can find us at Elgi Chambers which is part of the Thiru Vi Ka Industrial Estate in Guindy. We occupy units C 54 and 55. Being in an industrial estate means there is always a lot of heavy machinery noise and trucks rumbling past our doors. It is a very busy area of Chennai and the heat can get quite intense during the middle of the day. Our building is pretty straightforward and does not have any of those modern glass walls you see in the city center. It is a place built for work and that is exactly what we do here at Elgi Building Products Ltd. The office inside is functional with metal desks and old fans that have been spinning for years. We spend our hours tracking shipments and talking to workers out on the floor. There is no pretense here just people wearing work clothes and getting their hands dirty when they have to. Guindy is a tough place to commute to sometimes because of the traffic but we are used to it by now. We usually have our lunch at the small stalls nearby and then get right back to the warehouse. It is a lot of logistics and physical inventory that keeps us busy from morning until late evening. The floors are concrete and the walls are plain but it suits the kind of work we do every day.
