Merrill Technology Services

Merrill Technology Services is based in Chennai. Our office is at Plot No. 109 in the Malar Blossom Flats. We are in unit F2 on Raja Gopalan Street, which is in Devi Karumariamman Nagar. This is over in Valasaravakkam. It is a residential area, so it’s much quieter than the center of Chennai. We work out of a flat that we have converted into a workspace. It’s not a big corporate office, which we actually prefer. We have our computers and servers set up in the rooms. Most of our day is spent dealing with different technology projects and solving technical problems. It’s a small team, so we all know each other well. We don't have a big front desk or a receptionist. If you come to the door, one of us will just get up and answer it. The neighborhood is nice and we often see the same people every day when we go out for a break. We don’t really do any big advertising for our own services. Most people find us through word of mouth. It is a straightforward way to run a tech business. We just focus on the code and the systems we are building. It takes a lot of concentration, so being in a quiet flat helps a lot. We like the way things are set up here. It’s a simple, honest way to work in the tech industry.
