Mechci Cadd Engineering Pvt. Ltd., Chennai

We are based in Kodambakkam, Chennai, specifically at No. 26/2 on 2nd Street in Taylors Estate. It’s a relatively quiet street, which is nice because Chennai can be so noisy elsewhere. At Mechci Cadd Engineering Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, we spend most of our time in front of computer screens working on engineering designs and CADD projects. It’s not a flashy setup. We have rows of desks, some older chairs, and plenty of coffee mugs scattered around. The air conditioning is our best friend given how hot it stays in Tamil Nadu for most of the year. Our team is a mix of young engineers and some who have been doing this for decades. We don’t really follow a strict corporate dress code; people just wear what’s comfortable for a long day of technical work. Sometimes we stay late when a project deadline is looming, and we usually end up ordering some food from a nearby hotel. We talk a lot about technical specs and dimensions, and there's always someone debating the best way to solve a design problem. The office has that lived-in feel, with stacks of old drawings in the corners. We’ve been here long enough that the postman knows everyone by name. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to get the drawings right and keep the clients happy without making a big fuss about it. We just focus on the task at hand and move on.
