Our office is situated at 8/22 Saraswati Street in Mahalingapuram. That’s in Chennai, zip code 600034. It’s a busy little pocket of the city. Max India is the name we go by. We’ve been operating out of this street for a good length of time. The office itself is nothing out of the ordinary. We have desks, chairs, and the usual equipment you’d expect. It can get a bit warm in the afternoons, but we have fans and the occasional breeze if we are lucky. There’s no big corporate headquarters feel here. We are just local people doing our jobs. Most of the folks who work here live not too far away, so we know the local scene pretty well. We don't spend money on big advertisements or anything like that. We just focus on the people who come through the door. The street can get a bit crowded with scooters and cars, especially during rush hour, so getting here can take a bit of patience. We just keep things simple and honest. There’s no need for fancy talk when you’re just trying to run a business in Mahalingapuram. We take care of the paperwork, talk to the customers, and keep the lights on. It’s a steady rhythm and we are used to it.
