Maria Engineering Enterprises

Our workshop is located at 32/91 on Rabindranath Tagore Road, over in Alamelu Manga Puram. It is a busy street and there is always something going on outside our doors. We have been operating Maria Engineering Enterprises from this spot for quite a while now. The space is filled with tools, machines, and bits of metal from various jobs we are currently working on. It is definitely not the cleanest place, but it is where the work happens. You will usually hear the sound of some machine running if you walk by during the day. We are a small team, mostly just a few of us who know how to handle the equipment. We take on all kinds of repairs and fabrication work that people bring in. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because a part is hard to find, but we always tell people the truth about that. There is no front desk or receptionist here. If you come in, you just talk to whoever isn’t currently busy with a machine. We use a lot of grease and oil, so things get a bit messy, but that is just the nature of engineering. The neighborhood has changed, but the road stays busy. We have a small back room where we keep some of the older scrap, and sometimes it takes us forever to find what we need back there. My clothes are always covered in dust by the end of the shift.
