DOORWARE SYSTEMS

At DOORWARE SYSTEMS, we operate out of Plot no. 23 & 24 on Indiranagar 2nd Street in Gowrivakkam. Having two plots gives us a bit more room to breathe, which is lucky because we have a lot of hardware to keep track of. When we first moved here, Gowrivakkam felt a bit different, but now it’s definitely home. We spend our hours sorting through boxes of hinges, handles, and all the little bits that make a door work. It’s a lot of small parts, and keeping them organized is a never-ending task. Our desks are usually a mess of samples and order forms. We aren't much for formal meetings or corporate talk. We just get together in the morning, figure out what needs to be shipped, and get to it. Some days the phone doesn't stop ringing, and other days it’s quiet enough to hear the birds outside. We’ve got a good crew here who knows their stuff. We don’t put on airs or try to act like we’re more than we are. We’re just a local business on Indiranagar 2nd Street trying to do a decent job every day. The warehouse area can get a bit hot in the afternoons, so we usually take a break then. We like being in this part of town. It’s got a good feel to it. People stop by, sometimes just to ask for directions, and we don’t mind. It’s all part of being here.
