Mani Plastics

Our shop, Mani Plastics, is located at 13 Venkatachalam Mudali Lane. We are right in the heart of Rattan Bazaar in Park Town. If you have ever been to this area, you know how narrow the lanes are and how many people are always moving around with carts. It is a very old part of the city, and our shop has been here for a long time. We sell all sorts of plastic goods, from simple household items to things for other businesses. The shop is small and every bit of wall space is covered with shelves. We have things stacked up high, and sometimes it feels like the whole place is made of plastic products. It’s a family business, and we don't really have any formal ways of doing things. We just know where everything is and how much it costs by heart. Most of our customers are regulars who have been coming to us for years. We don't do any advertising or have a big sign outside. The lane is so narrow that you can barely see the signs anyway. It gets very hot and humid in the afternoons, but we keep the fans running and stay busy. We don't have a computer to ring things up; we just do it the old-fashioned way. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we enjoy the energy of Rattan Bazaar every single day.
