Mangai Driving School

Mangai Driving School has been operating in Mylapore for quite a long time now. We are tucked away in this historic part of Chennai, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Mylapore has its own rhythm, with the narrow streets and the busy temple areas. Learning to drive here is an experience in itself. We aren't a big, fancy school with a lot of shiny brochures. We’re just a small group of people who know these roads like the back of our hands. We started this because we saw a need for a local place where people could learn without feeling pressured. The traffic in Chennai can be intimidating, but we take it one street at a time. We don't have a big corporate office; we prefer to keep things simple and local. Most of our students live nearby, and they often find us through word of mouth. We spend a lot of time out in the car, showing people how to navigate the turns and manage the traffic. It’s a practical job and we take it seriously, but we try to keep the mood light so students don't get too stressed. We’ve been through the license process many times and know how to help people get through it. It’s about being steady and persistent.
