Mangadu Kamatchi Driving School

Our place is situated on Padi Pudhu Nagar Main Road, not too far from the Smgr Kalyana Mandapam. It’s a busy stretch of road, which is actually pretty helpful when you’re trying to learn how to drive in real Chennai conditions. We’ve been running Mangadu Kamatchi Driving School from this spot for a while. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a lot of decorative stuff in the office because we’re mostly out on the street anyway. People from Padi Pudur Nagar know us as the local guys who help with licenses and driving lessons. We try to make sure every student feels okay before they head out into the heavier traffic. It’s a lot of responsibility, teaching someone to drive. We take it one day at a time. The landmark of the Kalyana Mandapam makes us easy to find if you’re coming from a different part of town. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but that’s just the way it is in this part of Chennai. We aren’t trying to be the biggest school around, just a reliable one for the neighbors. We know the shortcuts and the quiet streets for the first few lessons. After that, we get right into the thick of it on the main road. It’s practical learning. We’re just here to help you get your license and feel okay about being on the road.
