We are located right here on Nyniappa Nkn Street in the Park Town area of Chennai. It is a very busy spot. The traffic outside never really stops during the day. Our place is at number 9 and we spend most of our time dealing with pharmaceutical distributions across the city. The morning starts with unloading crates and checking the lists to make sure everything is where it should be. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fans going full speed while we sort through the orders. Park Town has a lot of history and the buildings are close together, which makes the street feel narrow when the delivery trucks pull up. Most of us have been working here for a while and we know the neighborhood pretty well. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or coordinating with the drivers who have to navigate the Chennai streets. There is always someone coming in or out with a clipboard. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just keep going with what we have to do. The floor is often covered with packing material until we get a chance to sweep it up at the end of the shift. It is just a regular workplace where we try to keep things moving as smoothly as possible without too much fuss. We focus on the boxes and the invoices day after day.
