Madras Engg Enterprises

We’ve been here at No.16 on Sunkurama Chetty Street for a good while now. If you know George Town, you know how Parry’S Corner gets. It’s always moving, always noisy. Madras Engg Enterprises is just one of those spots tucked into the middle of it all. Most days, it’s just us dealing with the usual engineering bits and pieces that people come looking for. The shop isn’t anything fancy, just a place where work gets done. You can hear the traffic from the street outside all day long. Sometimes it’s hard to even hear yourself think when the horns start going off near the corner. We spend most of our time just organizing things and talking to whoever walks through the door. It’s a busy part of the city, and we’re just part of the furniture here I guess. Sunkurama Chetty Street has a lot of history, and you can feel it in the old walls of these buildings. We don't really bother with big signs or flashy lights. People usually find us because they know where we are or someone told them to come to this specific lane. It’s hot, dusty, and crowded, but that’s just how George Town is. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the place. Every morning we open up, sweep the front, and get ready for the day's tasks. It’s simple work, really. Just keeping the business going at No.16 and making sure we handle the orders that come our way.
